IMPORTANT NOTICE

Dr Hans R Bance

Dear Patients

After over 30 years of service here at the practice, I have decided that the time is now right for me to fully retire from General Practice on 30th June 2018.

There have been many exciting changes in the practice and these are continuing to help us thrive going into the future.

It has been both a pleasure and a privilege to have been able to treat you all over the years and to be part of the Castleford & Methley community.

Thank you.

I wish you all the very best.

Dr Hans R Bance

NEWS ARTICLE: Improving Access

Improving access to general practice: evening and weekend appointments now available

Patients who are registered at this practice can now book an appointment to see a GP or nurse on weekday evenings (after 6.30pm) or at the weekends (on Saturday and Sunday). Appointments will take place at Trinity Medical Practice Wakefield and Pontefract General Infirmary. Talk to your practice receptionist to find out more or book an appointment.

By March 2019 everyone in England will benefit from access to general practice appointments in the evenings and weekends at a time that is most convenient to them. This is part of a national drive to help improve access to general practice and get the best possible outcomes for patients. Further information is available at www.england.nhs.uk/gpaccess

New Patient Registration

We are OPEN for new registrations.  registration1The doctors welcome new patients who live within our practice area.

If you live within the area served by the Practice and would like to register as a patient with us then please speak to one of our receptionists.  You will be given various forms to complete, one set for each member of your family including a GMS1 Registration Form, – if you require help to complete them then please feel free to ask.  If you know your NHS number then this will help to speed up the process – but it is not essential for you to know it to be able to register with us.

Once completed please return them to a receptionist, ‘New Patient Checks’ are no longer compulsory to join our Practice, but patients who have had them tell us that they can be very useful in getting to know our medical processes, particularly if they suffer from long-term illnesses.  If you wish to have a health check please ask to make an appointment, the choice is yours.

Please contact one of our receptionists for further information and a GMS1 Registration Form which needs to be completed by each person wishing to register with us.

Please follow the link to our Practice Leaflet below which will provide more information about our practice.  This leaflet is also available in a large print format, if required, and can be requested from any of our three Receptions.
